  • 1/2 cupbrown sugar
  • 2 teaspoonsbaking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonbaking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoonsalt
  • 1/2 teaspooncinnamon
  • 2large eggs
  • 1/2 cupunsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cupmilk
  • 1 teaspoonvanilla extract
  • 3/4 cupchopped pecans
  • 1/2 cupsalted caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
  • Whole pecans for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Prepare your muffin tin with liners or cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Whisk until mixed.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in chopped pecans and salted caramel sauce.
  5. Fill muffin tins about 3/4 full with batter.
  6. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, checking doneness with a toothpick.
  7. Allow muffins to cool for 5 minutes in the tin, then transfer to a wire rack.
  8. Drizzle with additional salted caramel sauce and garnish with a whole pecan before serving.

Notes

Consider using silicone muffin trays for easier removal; store uneaten muffins in an airtight container to prolong freshness.
