- 1lb sea scallops (cleaned and patted dry)
- 4 tablespoonsunsalted butter, melted
- 3cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cupbreadcrumbs (Panko preferred)
- 1/4 cupgrated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoonlemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoonpaprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
- Pat the scallops dry with paper towels and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Mix melted butter, garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Spoon the mixture over the scallops evenly.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until the scallops are opaque and the topping is golden.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Scallops should be dry to ensure the best texture during cooking.
