  • 2large heads bok choy (about1.5lb), halved lengthwise
  • 3 tbspolive oil
  • 2 tbspbutter
  • 5garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • Β½ tspsalt
  • Β½ tspblack pepper
  • Β½ tspsmoked paprika (optional)
  • Β½ cupcrumbled feta cheese
  • β…“ cupchopped toasted walnuts

Instructions

  1. Begin by heating the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Once your skillet is hot, carefully place the bok choy cut-side down into the skillet.
  3. After achieving that perfect caramelization, flip the bok choy and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes.
  4. Lower the heat to medium, then add the sliced garlic along with salt, black pepper, and optional smoked paprika.
  5. In a small separate pan, warm the honey with crushed chili flakes and apple cider vinegar for about 2–3 minutes.
  6. Transfer the beautifully caramelized bok choy to a serving dish and sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese and toasted walnuts generously on top.

Notes

Make sure to wash bok choy thoroughly to eliminate any dirt or grit.
