- 1 tablespoonhamburger seasoning
- 1medium jalapeno, seeded and sliced
- 6slices thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cupsharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cupcrispy fried onions
- 1package (12-count) King’s Hawaiian rolls
- 1recipe cowboy butter (without lemon juice)
Instructions
- Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) and greasing your baking dish.
- In a spacious skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Toss in your diced yellow onion and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, and hamburger seasoning. Cook for approximately 8-10 minutes until nicely browned.
- Slice the King’s Hawaiian rolls horizontally. Place the bottom halves into your greased baking dish, drizzle with cowboy butter, and spread the beef mixture over the rolls.
- Layer on the sliced jalapenos, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and crispy fried onions. Place the tops of the rolls back on and brush with melted cowboy butter.
- Cover with foil and bake for about 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your delicious Cowboy Sliders!
Notes
Make sure to drain any excess fat after cooking the beef to prevent greasy sliders. If you prefer a milder flavor, remove the seeds from the jalapeno or use a milder pepper.
