  • ΒΎ cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • Β½ cup dark corn syrup (like Karo)
  • Β½ cup light corn syrup
  • 2 cups chopped pecans (not too fine)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • Β½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 (9-inch) deep dish pie shell

Instructions

  1. Whisk melted butter and brown sugar in a large bowl until smooth.
  2. Add eggs and both corn syrups, mixing until glossy.
  3. Fold in pecans, vanilla extract, flour, and salt.
  4. Pour mixture into a prepared pie shell and smooth the top.
  5. Bake at 350Β°F for about 40 minutes, checking halfway.
  6. Let cool for at least 2 hours before serving.
