Garlic Butter Baked Scallops are an easy and delicious seafood dish.

Ingredients

  • 1lb sea scallops (cleaned and patted dry)
  • 4 tablespoonsunsalted butter, melted
  • 3cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cupbreadcrumbs (Panko preferred)
  • 1/4 cupgrated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoonlemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoonpaprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
  2. Pat the scallops dry with paper towels and place them in a greased baking dish.
  3. Mix melted butter, garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Spoon the mixture over the scallops evenly.
  5. Bake for 15-18 minutes until the scallops are opaque and the topping is golden.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Scallops should be dry to ensure the best texture during cooking.
