Creamy Boursin Chicken Pasta

Creamy Boursin Chicken Pasta is the ultimate weeknight comfort food. Juicy chicken, penne pasta, and a rich garlic herb cheese sauce come together in just 30 minutes for a cozy, family-approved dinner.

  • 1 lb chicken breasts or thighs boneless, skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic freshly minced
  • 1 (5.2 oz) package Boursin cheese Garlic & Herb flavor recommended
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 12 oz pasta penne, rigatoni, or fettuccine
  • Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
  • 1 cup spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, or mushrooms
  • A pinch of red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden and fully cooked (68 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  2. Boil the Pasta Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  3. Make the Sauce In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 1 minute. Lower heat, then stir in Boursin cheese and heavy cream until smooth. Add chicken broth to thin sauce as needed.
  4. Combine Return chicken to skillet, then add pasta. Toss everything until well coated. Adjust consistency with pasta water if needed.
  5. Serve Garnish with parsley and enjoy hot with garlic bread or salad.
