Begin by taking your softened cream cheese and placing it into a stand mixer. Add the granulated sugar and mix on medium speed. Continue to beat until the mixture is completely smooth, with no lumps remaining.
Once your cream cheese mixture is smooth, gently add the defrosted whipped topping. Using the silicone spatula, carefully fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
Now, pour the cream cheese filling into your prepared graham cracker crust. Use the spatula to evenly spread the filling, smoothing out the surface until it’s flat.
With the cream cheese layer spread evenly, it’s time to layer on the cherry pie filling. Spoon it generously over the cream cheese mixture.
