  • 120 g(4 oz) brie cheese, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cupwhole cranberry sauce (or cranberry compote)
  • 1 tablespoonfresh thyme leaves
  • 2 tablespoonshoney (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Flour, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). While the oven warms up, take your muffin tin and lightly grease it.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, carefully roll out the thawed puff pastry. Cut the pastry into 6 long strips.
  3. For each pastry strip, spread a thin layer of cranberry sauce, layer thin slices of brie cheese, and sprinkle fresh thyme leaves.
  4. Gently roll up each pastry strip starting from the bottom, creating a spiral shape that resembles a rose.
  5. Brush the tops of each pastry rose with the beaten egg wash and drizzle a little honey on top before placing the muffin tin in the oven.
  6. Bake for about 18–22 minutes or until the roses are golden brown, puffed up, and bubbling with deliciousness.
  7. Finish each rose with another drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of thyme leaves just before serving.
