Ingredients
Scale
8 ozcream cheese, softened
1/2 cupcranberry sauce
1–2jalapeños, finely chopped (adjust for heat)
1/4 cupgreen onions, chopped
1/4 cuppecans, chopped
1 tablespoonhoney
1 teaspoonlime juice
Salt and pepper, to taste
Crackers or baguette slices, for serving
Instructions
Start by taking a mixing bowl and adding the softened cream cheese along with the cranberry sauce. Using a spatula or a hand mixer, blend these two ingredients until you achieve a smooth and creamy texture.
Next up, it’s time to add the stars of the show: the jalapeños, green onions, and chopped pecans. Carefully fold these ingredients into the cream cheese and cranberry mixture, ensuring even distribution without overly beating or mashing the mix.
Add the honey and lime juice to the mix, followed by a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Stir to combine well, allowing the flavors to meld together harmoniously. After you’ve incorporated all the ingredients, transfer your mixture into a nicely presented serving dish. To intensify the flavors, cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
This spread can also be made a day in advance; simply keep it tightly covered in the refrigerator.
